Data Deletion Requests

This page explains how to delete or request deletion of data connected to the Gargoyle Drip Android application and the game hosted at gargoyle-drip.web.app, developed and published by Bojan Ilievski. The full data practices are described in the privacy policy.

Data you can delete yourself

Gargoyle Drip has no developer-operated user accounts. Scores, settings, streaks, relics, and story progress are stored on your device. You can delete all of this local data at any time, without contacting anyone:

• On Android, open system Settings → Apps → Gargoyle Drip → Storage and choose Clear storage, or uninstall the application.
• In a browser, clear the site data for gargoyle-drip.web.app.

If Android device backup is enabled, a copy of this local progress may remain in your own Google backup until Android rotates or expires it. The developer cannot access or delete your device backups; they are managed by your Google account.

Google Play Games achievement data

If you use Google Play Games achievements, Google stores the achievement unlocks and progress associated with Gargoyle Drip in your Play Games profile. Gargoyle Drip does not keep a separate server copy and does not request or store your Play Games Player ID, so the developer cannot locate or delete this Google-managed record for you.

You can delete Gargoyle Drip's Play Games data through your Play Games profile or Google account by following Google's Play Games data deletion instructions. Because achievement synchronization can restore progress in either direction, deleting only Google's copy while keeping local game data may upload earned achievements again the next time Play Games authenticates. To remove both copies, clear Gargoyle Drip's local storage and delete its Play Games data before reopening the game. New achievements earned after that will be stored again if Play Games authentication remains enabled.

Verified leaderboard data

A leaderboard-enabled Android version provides authenticated self-service controls. Open Gargoyle Drip → Belfry Board → About & privacy, then choose Delete Leaderboard Data and confirm. This deletes the derived leaderboard profile, verified scores, duplicate-attempt records, and rate-limit records associated with the authenticated Play Games player.

The leaderboard deletion does not erase local scores or progress, purchases, Play Games achievements, or Google's Play Games profile data. Use the separate steps above if you also want to remove those copies. You can instead choose Hide My Scores to remove entries from public ranking without deleting them, and Show My Scores to make them public again.

The leaderboard does not retain the raw Play Games Player ID, gamer name, email address, authorization code, access token, or replay payload. Anonymous daily operation totals contain no player identifier, so one person's contribution cannot be located or removed.

Data you can ask the developer to delete

If you bought the optional purchased content on Android, the developer's purchase-verification service stores a record about that purchase: a one-way fingerprint of the Play purchase token, the product identifier, ownership and acknowledgement states, verification source, notification event identifiers, and timestamps. These records contain no name, email address, Google account identifier, or gameplay data.

To request deletion of purchase-verification records, email drakuwa@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and include the Google Play order number from your purchase receipt so the record can be located. Requests are answered and confirmed by reply within 30 days.

What is retained

A verification record may be kept while it is still needed to support an active purchase, refund, or revocation with Google Play. Google Play keeps its own order and payment records under the Google Privacy Policy; deleting the developer's verification record does not affect your Google Play purchase history or refund rights.

The owned web game may also contribute to daily aggregate gameplay counters when Share Play Counts is enabled. Those counters have no player or device identifier and no raw event history, so an individual contribution cannot be located or deleted. Turn off Share Play Counts in the game's Options to stop future telemetry from that browser.
